WHAT MAKES FLO Bamboo pads special?
Flo Bamboo Pads are made from organic bamboo, corn and plant cellulose fibre are both hypoallergenic and biodegradable. The pads are made with no nasties and are non-chlorine bleached, are free from synthetic fibres, harmful chemical additives, pesticides, fragrances and dyes.
To wear Flo pads are super soft, brilliantly breathable, uber-comfortable as they are ultra thin & absorbent. The wings curl around the sides of underwear to offer superior leak protection and the high adhesion of the stickers to your underwear means Flo Bamboo Pads stay exactly where you place them.
Flo Bamboo pads are also officially certified by PETA and the Vetetarian Society to be both Vegan and Cruelty-Free.
Are the vegan pad wrappers eco-friendly too?
Absolutely, Flo Bamboo Pads are individually wrapped in zero-plastic plant-based bio wrappers. These wrappers are biodegradable along with the pads themselves and the outer cardboard box. Leaving no trace!
Is the Bamboo of Flo Organic Pads SUSTAINABLE?
It certainly is, Flo has looked at every single detail and made every little thing sustainable and good for you and the planet.
Here We Flo sources only edge-grown bamboo. This means it doesn’t replace food crops and is certified by Oeko-Tex and Ecocert. Oeko-Tex is concerned with how the bamboo is processed, while Ecocert is organic certification and regulates how the bamboo is grown. To attain the certification that Here We Flo gets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fibre has to be tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.
Flo gives back by donating menstrual products to organisations like St. Mungo’s & Bloody Good Period, which provide for refugees, asylum seekers & the homeless. And 5% of Flo’s profits go to charities like the Orchid Project, which works to stop female genital mutilation (FGM). It’s a good product from a good brand that is doing good!
